We are able to provide advice, guidance and support for anyone who is educated to HND, BA or MA level (or equivalent) on a fashion or design related course.

Individuals who have not completed any formal training in fashion design are also welcome to contact us for advice and assistance, but should already have a small portfolio of work in order for us to gauge their suitability for the industry.

We can assist designers who are looking to find work in all of the following areas: ladies, kids and menswear design, knitwear, textiles, footwear, accessories, jewellery, homeware, and fashion graphics

Undergraduates

Undergraduates are welcome to contact us at any time throughout their course, however most will benefit from our services in their final year of university, in the run up to graduation.

Before contacting us, speak to your tutor or course leader, to check whether we are scheduled to lecture at your college or university, as this might be the best option right now.

If your college or university is not already familiar with The Fashion Careers Clinic, why not ask them to give us a call to arrange a lecture or work shop?

Recent Graduates

Again, graduates are welcome to contact us at any time, however we recommend you contact us in the weeks following graduation, when you are trying to establish what to do next to try to land your dream job!

If you graduated a year or two ago, and are still on the lookout for your first design role, contact us to find out how you can improve your chances of finding a job.

Experienced Designers

Whether you are a junior designer, mid level, or senior – contact us if you need a bit of help in finding your next fashion design job.

Perhaps you don’t know which agencies can help you best, or your CV is a mess but you don’t know how to improve it, or you have no idea how other designers are presenting their portfolio work and would like some guidance on how to present yours. Whatever you need assistance with, we are here to help.
